There is something really strange about watching an empty room slowly become a place where people are going to make memories.
For the last few weeks, there have been boxes everywhere, furniture being moved, things being painted, cleaned, rearranged, changed again, and probably changed one more time after that.
And now it’s official.
N’Vious Tattoo Gallery has moved.
Our new home is:

Cookeville, TN 38501
For me, this move feels like more than just changing addresses.
I came into N’Vious as a wannabe tattoo apprentice still figuring out what I was doing, learning the craft, building confidence, and trying to find my place in an industry that I had wanted to be part of for a long time.
So getting to watch the shop grow while I’m growing right alongside it has been pretty special.
More Room for What We’re Building
One of the things I love about N’Vious is that it has never felt like we’re trying to be just another tattoo shop.
Yes, we tattoo people.
But we also obsess over art. We talk about designs constantly. We laugh way too much. We share ideas. We encourage each other. We meet people from all over the Upper Cumberland and get trusted with pieces of their stories.
Sometimes those stories are serious.
Sometimes somebody just really wants a Pokémon tattoo.
Both are valid.
Our new space gives us more room to keep building the kind of shop we want N’Vious to become. A place centered around art, community, creativity, and making people feel genuinely welcome when they walk through the door.
The Messy Part Nobody Sees
Moving a tattoo shop is not exactly the same as moving into a new apartment.
There is a lot that has to happen behind the scenes before clients ever sit down in a tattoo chair.
Stations have to be set up. Supplies have to be organized. Furniture has to find a home. Artwork has to go on the walls. Everything has to be cleaned and prepared so we can continue tattooing safely and comfortably.
The Tennessee Health Department needs to give us the green light…
There have definitely been moments where the shop looked less like an art gallery and more like everyone collectively decided to dump their belongings into one giant room.
But slowly, it started becoming ours.
And that has been really fun to watch.
A Fresh Start
What excites me most about the move is what it represents.
Growth.
Not the flashy kind where everything suddenly changes overnight.
The kind where you keep showing up, keep making things better, keep learning, and eventually look around and realize you’ve built something bigger than where you started.
That is what this season feels like for the shop.
And honestly, it feels like that for me too.
I’m still an apprentice. I’m still learning every single day. I’m still figuring out what kind of tattoo artist I’m becoming.
But now I get to do that in a brand new space, surrounded by artists I’m learning from and a community that continues to support us.
That feels pretty cool.
